Our Bible Study attempts to address the spiritual needs of participants at all ages and of all abilities. We sing interactive songs that teach the faith while incorporating percussion instruments. We teach the basics of the faith using sign language: the Ten Commandments, the Apostles Creed, and the Lord’s Prayer. Each week we learn a new Bible lesson and relate it to the gospel for that Sunday. We want all participants to know chiefly that they are loved by God through Jesus Christ his Son. There are two opportunities to attend our Bible Study: Thursdays at Hangtime and Sundays at 9:30 am. Both Bible studies meet at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Our volunteers and participants share what they love about bible study at SPARC.
" SPARC is a necessary and meaningful ministry in this community. These are all Jesus’ friends. "
" I like the Bible study music and art. I like everything at art and the games and everything. I also like the bikes. "
" I like that we get to meet together and worship God. I like how Pastor Scott teaches the Bible Study. "
As a volunteer, you will work one-on-one with participants during any or all of SPARC's programs, help at seasonal events, and more!
